Am looking to import products from the US to sell here. Does anyone have any advice on how to save money on shipping and taxes?
Thanks!

Its a very simple calculation - the slower the goods move, the cheaper your transport cost. Make sure you specify exactly what type of service you want & get details of of the service to be provided, confirmed in writing (inc. fax or e-mail). If you are bringing in large amounts of goods, especially if its going to eb a regular ocurance, haggle for the best rates - there are plenty of companies out there who are looking for work, and rates are negoitable.
Any decent customs clearance agent will be able to carry out an import clearance for you - Duty & tax rates are all set out in the HM Customs "Tariff" & your agent should be able to coinfirm exactly rate of duty will be applicable to your import.0 -
