Eharmony Renewal Subscription Problem

Hi I have de activated my account on eharmony and I'm pretty sure I have turned auto renewal off my the subscription to not be renewed again but I am not sure about this. I tried logging on the other day (to see whether or not I turned auto renewal off otherwise they will charge you for a further so many months subscription) on the eharmony website but my login details failed to be recognised on their site as this was not on their database no more, was due to me de activitating my account possibly. Anyway the end of my subscription to eharmony is coming to an end and was wondering if they do charge me after so many months subscription would I be able to do anything beforehand to stop them taking out money from my account like can my bank provider be able to do anything say stop this charge if I tell them about my issue. I have heard plenty unpleasant stories about eharmony and their renewal subscription and this frankly concerns me. I am wondering what can I do if they charge me but I am pretty sure I have turned auto renewal off before closing my account.

Thanks for the help

Maybe write them a letter via registered post explaining the above, with your membername and date, and just asking them to confirm that your membership is permanently cancelled and that you will not be rebilled?
  • I wil have a try and do what you said but from I heard from most people that have used this site they have said that the customer service is really bad. But I do appreciate your help and advice.
