I wanted to post a recommendation. I have been so impressed with this company's service. I have an ex-MFI kitchen which has been at my house since before I moved in 11 years ago and it needs updating. Unfortunately, I can't afford to replace the entire kitchen and decided to replace the doors instead which sounds a good idea in principal but it appears some of my cupboards are not standard size, and of course MFI are long since gone.

I had a tough job trying to sift the wheat from the chaff to find a retailer and website I trusted. I took a big chance on UK Kitchen Doors Direct (google them - the forum won't let me post the link as it's my first post) and paid by credit card to ensure my purchase was covered by section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act should anything go wrong.

I am so glad I made the order. They make cupboard doors customised to any size. Their website was so easy to use. I ordered 12 doors, 5 end panels, and 4 drawer fronts and my bill was £477. This included FREE door/drawer handles and FREE drilling of the hinge holes.

The transaction ran smoothly from beginning to end. The company telephoned me the next day to confirm the order, then emailed to confirm our conversation and my order. The lady was very knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions without referral. It took less than 3 weeks for an email to be received confirming my doors had left the factory. The email confirmed the name of the carrier and the consignment number and asked me to call the carrier to arrange delivery. I did this the next day, and the whole order was delivered the following day. Even the delivery man was a pleasure to deal with! Such an efficient service.

The doors were packaged very well. I was very surprised at the quality of the doors. I was expecting basic. But they are quality and so much better than I already have. I'm thrilled.

Just wanted to share my experience and hope this helps someone else make a decision rather than selecting a rogue retailer online.
