I was just wondering...

If our IVA is approved, can we then have a big bonfire of all the paperwork relating to our debts, or is it advisable to keep any of it? I was just going through some of it tonight and I just thought how lovely it would be if I never had to look at it again.

I'd recommend keeping it for a few years, in case there's ever a query on amounts owed / paid.

But by all means file it away out of sight.

As the good Dr advises ... best to hang on to it. You never know when you might need to look something up. Of course, "Sod's Law" says if you keep it, you will never need it, but as soon as you ditch it, it will be needed!
