OP, can you answer my question about giving us the name of the item or giving us a link please?

Have you actually done what they ask and provide them with evidence of the supposed fault?

I am not allowed to post a link but the item is the Steens Lucerne 3 Drawer Bedside table (as well as the large five drawer chest of drawers, bed and mirror) at bedroomfurnitureworld.co.uk

And yes, I have provided photo evidence in an email which they claim they haven't had. So I've sent it again.

Depending what email client you have, you may be able to request a read receipt......meaning when they open it, you get a email telling you its been received and read ;)

The only problem is the recipient usual gets the message 'The buyer has requested a read receipt. Send now? Yes No'.

Kinda defies the whole point of it, don't ya reckon:)

TBH, if I ordered furniture from the internet, I would assume it was flat packed and not the other way round, unless stated.

So would I. Otherwise the only way it would ever get to the recipient in one piece would be in a dedicated vehicle -- which would obviously cost muuuuuch more than £19.99 op paid.

But to ops credit it doesn't say so on the page

True it does depend on what client they use also. In my experience though most i've came across dont. Still, could be the minority given i've not come across many :D
