thanks for your replies - all very useful!
  • Yes put down daughters activities! Not sure about the hp on car i git to keep mine as they would prob want paying to take it ,its that bad! Lol is that enough for petrol i put 200 but depends how far work is? But i take my daughter to her dads etc and get to work visit family. With nine they dropped things down and took things off but also added and upper things so they was very fair. If you don't put it on you won't know they can only say no, don't ask you don't get!! Plus on the ex thing why are you taking your daughter and picking her up when he is not giving you anything ave you looked at csa? Sorry just annoys me!! Your struggling an goin through all this on your own he gets off Scott free!

You will probably lose the car, as the HP company will take it back.

Do you need a car for work? To be able to get a replacement you are going to have to come up with a good case, IMO taking your daughter to school and her dads probably won't be good enough.

Sazza, as has been said you will probably loose the HP car as the HP co. will most likely take it back if you go BR. You will need a really compelling reason to be allowed to keep the car. Is the school not walkable? Buses? Do you work? I would hazzard a guess that the OR will say it is your Ex's job to sort out seeing his child. Do you have a court action saying you need to drive them to your Ex.

hi guys, thanks for the replies,

CCCS counsellor told me i had a fair case to keep car? - my ex doesnt drive (grrrr) and it would be upsetting my daughters routine if she was on buses for over an hour as he lives miles away...there is a contact order but it would hinder this argument, so im leaving it out...her school isnt walking distance and I work just out of the city centre, catching buses would mean less hours in work earning??

the car is worth the outstanding balance, no more - no less. about 2k. tax is very cheap and its cheap to run...im hopeful but wouldnt be suprised if they did...id just have to work round it somehow
