help! Laptop charger/adaptor issue

hey guys,

I am on holiday in the USA and very stupidly managed to lose the adaptor/charger for my British LEnovo laptop (still no idea how!). Anyhow, have bought another US version of the charger - it says it's compatible with the Z560 which is the laptop I have, but when I tried using it, my laptop didn't register and so isn't charging.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do, or other chargers to try? I will be in the USA for a good whiole yet, so really need to get this sorted.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Did you get a genuine one or a cheap aftermarket one? Lenovo chargers are worldwide so will work anywhere.
