Yes. Paid for air con, did not get air con, wether I was bothered or how much I was bothered is immaterial.

"did not really bother us too much" is comparative. It should not have bothered us at all.

It should not have been an issue.

Is this any clearer for you?

    £300 voucher - Excellent!

It doesn't need to be made any clearer for me - the facts speak for themselves. You had little/no airconditioning which hardly bothered you. You then saw that others who were bothered were complaining and decided to jump on the 'compo' bandwagon in the hope that you would be 'lucky.'

In your position, being 'hardly bothered' I would simply have reported the lack of provision of aircon to the hotel either during my stay or at checkout in order that the hotel could rectify the situation and simply have left it at that.

I hope you enjoyed your £300 voucher. The fact that holiday companies are forced to pay out compensation for such trifling matters simply for the sake of it and not because there was a genuine reason for your holiday being spoiled will have a knock on effect for their business ultimately affecting the customer in general.

And does your (trying) Gordon Brittas sarcasm and leaving an irrelevant post on the forum help the thread starter who asked a reasonable question?

Answer No, Clevering and sarcasm failed to impress.

Nothing to see here "Incapuppy" - Move on

I'm not sure what 'clevering' means - could you provide an official definition?

I'm not trying to impress anyone, merely leaving comments on a public forum which I am perfectly entitled to do. If you don't like people challenging what you decide to post from an alternative viewpoint then perhaps the internet is not for you?
This incapuppy member does not give advice without giving out sarcasm..quite a few posts are met with his/her unwanted and un needed notes. If he/her thinks this makes them look clever then l've got news for you incapuppy it does'nt...

Again, I am not posting in an effort to look clever. I simply read posts and respond with my thoughts. Which part of 'organisations in other EU countries are not obliged to accept local payment in pounds sterling' would you like explained in further detail?

I think the holiday companys have tightened up a bit now, if you don't complain to your rep in resort so it can be sorted there and then, they're not obliged to give you compensation.

Yes I complained in resort, I have copies of all the paperwork.
If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in :D

I must admit, £300 seems a lot just for dodgy air conditioning.

I do not think I need to. You have got it in one! :rotfl:

As for the rest of your drivel...........

There is nothing to see here, Move on.
