Access Garage Doors

Options
Please help!

My Mother in law has had significant problems with Access garage doors following her automated Garage door failing.

A number of years ago Access fitted a garage door opener to an existing garage this door eventually broke and required replacing, however, with the door breaking it also broke the motor itself. To cut a very long story short she has now had a completely new door and opener fitted. The door button has now broken (after 1 mth)and they are refusing to replace it (they have never had one break before she must of dropped it which is not covered), she has also been advised that she should have two buttons, she was only given one and the branch are telling her that the fitter said he gave her 2 buttons therefore it is her word against his.

She is at the end of her tether and I have lost the plot with them over the phone so many times I dare not call again!!

Unfortunately the fitter demanded she pay after fitment , which she did by cheque (I have advised her to use a card in the future)

Can anyone advise me of a sensible course of action? I have considered e-mailing Horman (the garage manufacturers) to advise them of the way access are doing business as they may have some way dealing with access.

Thanks in advance.
