homemade greenfly spray

hi,any recipe for a spray that i can make to rid my rose bush of tiny little white and greenfly please?

    VERY mild soapy water is meant to work.

    I'd suggest a really small drop of Fairy Liquid in a big bucket of water.
  • i use garlic spray against aphids

    just boil up what ever old / soft cloves you have in a pint or so of water - strain it off well (else bits will clog the sprayer) and stick it in a spray bottle - you can add a squirt of wash up liquid too - as the soft soap is supposed to stick on the bugs ;)

    one warning though - it is a smelly spray - so be mindful of which way the wind is blowing :D
    saving money by growing my own - much of which gets drunk
    made loads last year :beer:
