off topic but does asda sell thaini paste? doing an online shop and cant find it anywhere, need to use it with the chickpeas:)

I've never seen it, but to make hummus you dont have to use tahini just use some of the water. It is nicer with it tho. My sister brings me mine from Oman, but plenty of smaller ethnic shops sell it. Never seen it in a supermarket

I got mine from a health food shop, I can't remember if it was Holland & Barrett or our local independent one.
