bought a chainsaw from ebay.the ebayer says it was brand new.it loks new.but it wont work.he is prepared to do a refund or a swap for another ,my problem is he wants me to send it back,and he wants me to pay this postage costs.
where do i stand ..do i have to pay for it to be sent back or the seller..thanks

You will have to pay to return it even if you put a claim in through ebay but you shouldn't have to pay for another to be sent out to you. If you got a refund, you'd only get your original payment back.
Remember if you do return to get tracking or else he could say it was never returned.
