Looking at Hudson Reed Dream Showers, which model is better money for value? AS314 with 3 x square body jets or AS315 with 2 x square body jets? Cost difference as much as 100pounds.
Thanks for any input

Put a similar thread about a month ago and i didnt get any responses in terms of what to go for as a shower tower although other really good advice. Did do some surfing and theres a massive price difference by looking round for hudson reed. I (listening to advice given) went a completely different route and have bought a gorgeous Aqualisa Aquatique (which came today - from ebay) after lots of searching.

Thanks for this. I went to your thread and now I have this question.
My combi boiler is Worcester 25CDi, would it work with the shower tower that requires 'a minimum operating pressure of 2.0 bar'?
Many thanks.0 -
I was told this shower tower is too much for my combi boiler. How disappointing0

Unfortunately power showers and combi's do not go together, there simply isn't enough pressure there. A decent quality thermostatic mixer shower would be your best best. I'd recommend Mira or Aqualisa.
Another alternative is an electric shower (again Mira or Aqualisa) which is different to a power shower in that it only uses a cold feed and is heated at source. Bear in mind though that whilst a higher KW rated shower will give you better pressure, it will also put pressure on your electricity bill0 -

Hi...power showers and combis don't mix but not for the reason suggested. Power showers can only accept a low pressure/gravity supply not mains pressure (more here).
OP: as a budget option see the Mira Element or Aqualisa Midas both suitable for high pressure (e.g. combi fed)

Thats how I ended up with the Aqualisa Aquatique (which is a thing of absolute beauty but not fitted yet as still no roof but not long now!!!), as combi boiler made my dream of a shower tower not a workable one. I looked a round, till I found 2 models I really liked (the aquatique plus the hudson reed traditional) then did lots of searching for prices, ended up getting mine on ebay from a "shop" (sinksulove or something like that) but loads of good sites like taps4less.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... They do look impressive! Unfortunately, I dont' have the height for a shower head like the 'hudson reed traditional', the shower head I'm going to have has to be as close to the ceiling as it can.0
