Help!!! Washing Machine Has Gone Caput!!

Back in the summer my washing machine went on the blink, my other half thought it would be a good idea to get it repaired (I on the other hand disagreed) but he won. It's a 5 year old washer and we paid £100 to get it fixed. Now it's not working again!!!! It's a different problem this time so not under any guarantee)! I think we definitely need a new one but with so many on the market I don't where to start. I use my washing machine every day either once or twice and cannot live without one so I need to do something quick!! Can anyone recommend a good quality washing machine, at a reasonable price, or can tell me anywhere where I can get one perhaps in the sales? Thanks

Go for Bosch if you can afford it. Definitely worth checking out various websites (and print the info out and take it with you) to see what's on in the sales. Look on Kelkoo (https://www.kelkoo.co.uk) and see what prices you can track them down at. Also, check out the Comet clearance site: http://www.clearance-comet.co.uk/. If you're really strapped for cash, you might be able to pick one up on ebay.

Bosch or Miele but expensive. Trouble free though.

Miele had a 10yr parts and labour warranty, I would have went for one last year as i'm sure it would have been worth the £800+ but my cooker, washer and fridge/freezer all died within 2 months of one another and I just couldn't at that time.
