PAYG with longest expiry date

Does anyone know:

- which network has the longest expiry date on a PAYG topup (NOT on contract!)
- whether any network offers a £5 topup that includes texts, calls and a small amount of web access (unlikely I know!)

I currently top my son's phone up with £10 a month (he uses all three of the above services) but very rarely gets anywhere near to using all his credit before it expires.

Any ideas (particularly reference the first point) most gratefully received.

I have Virgin payg, and I have gone up to 1 year without using it or topping up without problems.

orange PAYG doesn't seem to run out (hasn't yet anyway)
