im doing a skydive for charity and some of the money i raise will go to pay for the sky diver but still aiming to raise around £1000 after the cost i spent around 40-50 hours so far asking for donations for a raffle and getting donations.
ive explained that some of the money will go to the dive and told everyone this before they donated and they were fine with it now after getting around £1000 worth of prizes my work place has turned round and said that none of the money we raise will be towards my skydive and the money raised will be donated in my managers name not mine.
has this happened to anyone as i spent alot of time raising the money and now i cant do the skydive or is this normal not being able to fund the skydive with the money raised even if it only 20% and the charity still gets a large sum of money donated
