If it's a CD, use a paper clip, if it's a floppy, pair of pliers.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

Dump question - but did you just push a CD thru a slit in the front of your pc ?Rich people save then spend.
Poor people spend then save what's left.0 -
is the disk half way in because you can just pull the disk drive. try opening the drive from my computer by right click on the icon and click eject.0

It maybe that you can shut down and while shutting down press the eject button and it will open. Our DVD drive sometimes does that and thats what we do.
The hole in the front has a little spring behind it which you can push in to release the drawer using a paper clip as stated above. You need to have shut down the computer first to be on the safe side so worth trying the eject button while it is shutting down anyway.0 -

yeah i heard of this before, someone had complained that they were putting cd's into their cd drive and never getting them back, an engineer went to take a look and open the pc to find 10's of cd's inside the case, the user had been pushing the disks into a gap between the case and the cd drive :rotfl:0
