Roof light VS Roof Dome VS Roof Lantern?

If you have the space for any of the three, then it just comes down to what you like the lok of and how much you're prepared to spend.
Me? My view is the kitchen sells the house - any house. So I went for the lantern option. I doubt it lets much more light in but it looks a lot more impressive than a dome and roof light IMHO. Not very MSE but sometimes there's more to consider than just saving the pennies.0
