This seems a strange one but I have received a "Package Claim Notification" from the above mentioned company requesting £14.95 to deliver a parcel. I've tried checking but I can't find anything that says it's a scam, but some sort of niggle tells me it is.
Has anyone else had any experience of this company?
I run an internet retail shop and most of the stock comes from overseas. I have never had a delivery where I have to pay for it before it reaches my door but there's a first time for everything. I have had to pay excess on delivery from time to time but only when it actually arrives.

Very much like a scam sounding thing to me...what courier is named on the notification?0

I think that's why I'm suspicious. I've dealt with lots of couriers, tracking numbers and other shipping concerns and I don't recognise anything on this missive.
No order number, description of goods, original sender etc.I prefer rogues to imbeciles, they sometimes take a rest (Alexander Dumas)0 -

OAP's warning on £2,500 scam letter
on Wednesday 8 December 2010 18:47
A COUPLE from South Tyneside are warning people about a scam letter which asked them for their bank details.
Norman Johnson, of Turner Avenue, South Shields, got a letter from a company calling itself NSI Worldwide Shipping, saying it had a package worth 2,500 for him.
The letter specified that the only way he could get it was to send a cheque for 14.95, or his bank details within two weeks.
An envelope – addressed to a PO box in Uithoorn in the Netherlands – was also supplied, but the recipient was expected to pay for the postage and are told "don't delay, act now".
Mr Johnson's wife, Anne, 80, said: "People need to be aware of this con, and not to send the 15. I thought it mustn't be real, but my son often gets packages delivered to our house. He had no idea what it could be, so we realised it must be a scam."
Earlier this year, an elderly man from the borough became a target for hundreds of fraudsters after sending cash. The man, in his 80s, received letters from conmen all over the world after initially responding to the letters.
Detective Chief Inspector Ian Bentham, of South Tyneside area command, said: "These scams take a variety of forms, but the theme remains the same – sending money or supplying bank details will bring large sums of money or valuable goods.
"Those who send bank details will often find their account cleaned out, with little chance of getting the money back."
Coun Joanne Bell, lead member for innovation and safer and stronger communities, said: "Our Trading Standards team works hard to raise awareness of scams."

hi ,just this morning recieved a letter from nsi shipping, there are so many vulnerable people out there that would send their bank details how can we stop this!!!!0

I received one of these letters today. Whenever I receive anything like this I remember the maxim: if it seems too good to be true, it almost certainly is.
The £14.95 they would like to nick from me is staying right where it is0 -
Send an empty, un-stamped envelope to the address...."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
