Hopefully not anything for me. Got to go to the bank to pay in a bit of Christmas money and will use the opportunity to walk to town and back and also take a bag of books to one of the charity shops that I've been meaning to do for a while. Will be leaving the wallet at home, so nothing to spend and no opportunity to do so

Hi,
It's a spending day for me today.
I'm finally being let off the leash to go baby shopping (I'm 6 months pregnant) I've been itching to start buying stuff but was persuaded to wait to see what I got off Santa and for the sales.
I'm getting my pushchair, already reduced by £30 and I have a voucher for £10.
I withdrew £300 from the bank today and I aim to spend it all on the baby.

Spent £70.50 on a new consumer unit for a job I was going to do, but then realised that the place was so old, I couldn't isolate the mains. So left the board there for now, got paid the money for it, and stuck it right in the bank. Got a greggs sausage roll, and roll for £2.30

First time I've spent anything since 19th Dec, although OH has been picking up grocery odds and ends on request.
Got a pair of black trousers in Bonmarche sale, £3 down from £10
, and spent £4.47 in Tesco on cat food, cucumber and Marmite (yayy, at last! - see my first post on the Just for Fun... thread). The Tesco shop came out of a £5 note I found on the ground last week, sopping wet but intact, so it didn't cost me anything really.
Here's to all of us keeping up the good work in 2007! :T
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe
