Good morning lovely DFWs
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Boxing day! With all the preparations and people dropping in to see us and the new house, I didn't get a chance to come on here over the last couple of days! Hope I haven't missed any big spends
I am off to the sames today. It sounds very odd saying that as I never go out to the shops between Christmas and New Year but we need furniture and we have my parents gift to spend. So, we are going to have a look around and see where we go from there
I fancied a coffee last time I went to the shops which was on the 23rd and never actually got it - today I am determined! Ridiculously overpriced coffee at Starbucks here I come
Have a great day everyone and keep it low!

morning moozie:)
a normal monday type spends for me today.....even tho its wednesday lol
nursery fees for DD 36.00 for this weeks
rent 50.00
i have to go post some ebay parcels today, but the postage is paid for already so nothing out of my purse for that:)
thats it, so technically a NSD for me as i dont count the rent or nursery fees into my weekly spends budget.
will be more expensive later in the week as DS2 is 9 on friday and me and his dad are taking him and a friend out for a curry thursday evening, we are divorced but we always take the kids out for their birthday together, plus we are still good mates:) so thursday will be a spend day for me but DS2 is more than worth it (plus i have budgeted for it like a true DFW)
have a great day all

Not too sure yet so will post back later.
Am popping into work for a few hours to see how everyone got on over christmas. Please please please may everyone be safe and well.
Am going to pop into town after to get some new socks. It appears that all of my socks have either shrunk, fallen apart or run off leaving their lonely mate behind. Primark here I come and maybe a mooch around for somem new boots!

Update:
Everyone was safe and well which was a great relief. Spent £13.50 in Primark on socks which should hopefully keep me going until next Cristmas! Then spent £35 on a new coat which I desperately needed and then £38 on petrol and a £1 on parking. Total spend for me today is £87.50 but the good news is that I paid in £290 to my current account...
Update no 2:
Just nipped into Tesco and spent a further twenty quid on stuff that I needed... yes needed!Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
no where, nothing, ziltch... but i am listing some [STRIKE]junk[/STRIKE] stuff on ebay so technically it is a spend... but it wont come out for a few weeks as i pay through direct debit

Trying to make today a no spend day. The children have gone to the pictures using vouchers they got for Christmas and their own money for sweets etc. I need some coffee and pasta and stuff but am trying not to go until tomorrow - just to prove to myself that I can be strong!!

I have finally gathered up my courage and spend the meager amount of money that I have saved on our beds. we have moved to our new house and we have been sleeping on air matresses for about about 2 months now... I took advantage of the the boxing day sales...headed off to ikea yesterday after work and bought some beds....Went to their bargain corner and have actualy found a mattress that has been reduced to £55. So I returned the other mattress that we have picked up for £100. To top it all I have some free coffee and gateau vouchers that I could claim in their resturants.Sealed Pot Challenge 2012 #1502:)

Afternoon all! I hope everyone is OK after the festive period and has either had a lovely one or come through it as emotionally stable as possible!
Well I have had (and will continue to I hope) a no spend day today.
Had to get up early and walk to the Doctors for a nurse's appointment and walked back which was a lovely stroll.
I am working my way through a list of about 25 things to do (I kid you not) which I made on the back on an envelope from Twinings...they sent me a sample of their mega rich hot chocolate/cocoa which I seriously will be looking forward to later tonight! What a lovely freebie to come back to
Hope everyone is OK, good luck getting through the remainder of 2006 without adding much to the debts!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly
