Help Washing Machine leaking!

Options
Sorry - have done a search but nothing relevant has come up. On Christmas Eve  our washing machine started to leak over the floor as soon as it was turned on - water and undissolved soap powder. I have had a general look at it but cannot see that anything obvious is detached - all the filter bits, the inlet and outlet pipes all seem fine. It seems to be coming from underneath - does anyone have any suggestions? I wish I could turn it upside down to have a look! I am now considering unscrewing teh back of it....

I didn't think at my age I wuold be taking my dirty washing to my Mum:D

First thing to do is check your filter on it, that is often the culprit, make sure clean and clear, then if still leaking check your door seal if faulty you can pick them up quite easily. Check https://www.yell.com for domestic appliance repairs and spares in your area.

  • It isn't either of those although I will have another look at the door seal (been there, done that with a previous machine ) . It seems to be coming out of the bottom - just don't know what pipework's underneath as it's far too heavy to tip to look.
