I have a Hbos credit card. I was wandering if I get cashback after doing my weekly shop if this counts as a purchase or will I get charged silly amounts of interest?
At the moment got 12 months interest free on purchases.
Thanks

At Asda when I worked there you couldn't get cashback on credit cards. Might be the same for other supermarkets. But I think if others do it will count as cash, not a purchase.0

As Sharon says most retailers won't offer cashback on a credit card. However, there are exceptions such as Wilkinsons. From what I've read they put this through as a purchase so should qualify as 0%.
