Thanks for starting us off, pix!! So nice to be missed :) I have been very busy over the last few days and just havent gotten round to posting.
Your new life sounds so lovely, Rocks!!! So glad things have come together painlessly.
    That sounds adorable, sibles

Overall life is quite good here. In MSE things today:
    • spend ages stressing about text to send to potential boy, so less time to actually send texts and use up credit! :rotfl: So bad at this sort of thing
    • work like mad as very busy at the office
    • eat at meeting and just had a drink at lunch with friends after (not planned but very :money:)
    • dinner at home tonight - probably pasta pesto from stores
    • quiet night in reading and doing some voluntary work I am late on

Happy evening, all! DNMS, josie and perni, I miss you!! Come back!

    hi
after a draining and emotional long phone cnversation with a friend who is going through hard financial times with her DH, i :

checked mine & hubby's online banking to make sure we were in credit (thankfully we are!)
have started his job application form for a permanent job and will get that and mine in by the end of the week
transfrerred £1.51 to son's school trip acccount - only as it left me with a nice roound figure
didn't write out a cheque for kids new school sweatshirts - think I will stick with asda uniform at about a third of the school cost - adds up with 3 kids!!
    eating out of freezer tonite
did another check on entitled to to see what we could claim in benefits for renewal of CTC
organised cheap playschemes for the kids (£160 for 2 kids for 4 weeks is a bargain!! and will be cheaper than keeping them at home)

thanked the lord that we are actually not doing toooooo bad financially, and are in control of our debts. Now just need to work on getting rid of them...:-)

Big sort out day today and I am pooped!

    Today we have:
    • Checked banking
    • Offloaded a boot full of stuff to my mums
    • Cleared half the garage of clutter
    • Thrown away 4 bags of rubbish
    • Put 7 black bags of clothes into the sally army bank
    • One black bag full of toys for local childminder with another tub of toys up in my room for her too
    • Found my sons old post office book with £40 in it :j Hoping for 19 years worth of interest to be huge amounts but doubt it :rotfl: Bet there will be some way they manage to wriggle out of it!
    • Picked up half price bridesmaids shoes and made OH wait in the car to avoid the £3 for parking
    • Sorted 3 black bags of clothes to give to a friend for her DD
    • LSD just got OH 2 energy drinks as he was flagging :rotfl:
    • Joined flylady - was very happy it was bathroom today as I did pretty much all of it yesterday :T Hoping for kitchen tomorrow as I did that yesterday too!
    • Listed 5 items on local freecycle
    • Washed 3 loads, 1 line dried, rest waiting for me to peg it out!
    • Meals from stores
    • Kids took packed lunches to school
    • Found an almost new car stereo with box to put on ebay. Hoping it goes well, its an ipod/cd/radio and was a previous argos bargain (£120 down to £39.99) so would be nice to get a bit back :D
    • Researched car parts on ebay as MOT coming up and need to finally deal with previous advisories. Should only be a tenner for both parts but got to get new bulbs that only peugeot do so hope they are reasonably priced!

Right, must go and shower tonight as work at 7am and must get that washing out, supposed to be nice the next 2 days then rain :( Oh and I MUST do a list for OH tomorrow or I shall come back to no garage or garden when he finishes off todays work :D (Must see if you can stuff a whole garage into a bin bag for next time....)

I really must learn that not all parts of MSE are as nice and helpful as this one!

Anyhoo, washing on line, another load set for 18 hrs time, should be finished as I get home from work :)
