Hi everyone
Was hoping that i could get some advice. I signed up to skills train on the 25/5/2007. The course i signed up for was IT and web design manager. The main reason why i signed up to this course was the fact that they were endorsed by companies like microsoft, e-skills uk, city and guilds, to name but a few.
It has taken me a while to get through the course, but i have had a few personal problems, so it took longer than expected. I have finished my payments, and i am on the last book.
The other day, by chance, i came across a forum thread with many people upset by the way they have been treated and lied to when it came to skillstrain. I found out that the endorsments such as e-skills,microsoft,city and guilds were no endorsing skills train.
I really could not believe this, but the more i looked into it, the more i found out about skillstrain.
I am disgusted that they sold me a course with endorsments that were false. I have links if people want to see them, but im not allowed to post them in my message.
Now, i am thinking of doing the same thing, but i don't know were i stand because i have already finished my payments, and on the last book.
Someone on another forum did get a refund by saying the quote below
"By showing endorsements by companies such as Microsoft and eSkills that were not held by Skillstrain at the time of sale are a breach of the The Trades Description Act 1968 (applying a false trades description)."
I really don't know what to do now.
