unfortunately it means you need to book 2 rooms. I agree with you, families of more than 4 are rarely catered for, but this is often the case, no matter who you are booking with, or where you are holidaying.0

Call them direct. I know we did premier inn a few months ago.
I had a family room. Double bed. 2 put up beds & a travel cot for the toddler. It could have got another put up bed in.0 -
Its a right PITA TBH. I also have 3 kids & have to book 2 rooms. Youngest is 3 & needs his own bed but if I had a younger child I'd pop him/her in a travel cot or if they're small enough share with mum & dad.0

Is there a premier inn near where you'll be. They are always very helpful. Good Luck!
And it's so true, everywhere caters for the 2.4 typical family.0 -
It's difficult isn't it? But to be honest I think you just have to suck it up! It's always going to be more costly having a bigger family. We book 2 rooms and I just try to be organised and get them at their cheapest, hence I will be setting my alarm for the early hours of Thursday to try and get some good deals at Travelodge! Not much use to you if you are fixed on dates, I know.
We've booked a couple of rooms for a trip next month through this http://www.roomfor5.co.uk/ site. They aren't really cheap, but are something a bit different.
Enjoy Blackpool! We went earlier in the year. We didn't splash out on the zoo as we had booked the Tower Circus, which was great. My kids also loved the model village opposite the zoo.0 -
We're a family of 5 so have been coping with this problem for years. It's always worth searching for hotels with suites or apartments - I know it sounds really expensive but we've stayed in some really nice suites which were actually cheaper than getting 2 separate rooms. It's worth doing a search on expedia as it lets you specify whether you want one room or two - 9 times out of 10 you don't get any results for one room but it does occassionally find somewhere!0

i booked a family room at travellodge a few weeks ago which consists of a bedsettee and a double bed and is for 4 people. I am a family of 6 and decided that as it was only for a night to break up our journey that we could fit 3 in the bed and 3 on the bed settee. It worked fine for us as children are all aged between 19 months and 7. I never mentioned it was for 6 when i booked online and no questions were asked! My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, and it's price competitive. If you like, I'll trade for one of yours.0

I would not recommend this, you could also easily be refused..(unless you hide two kids in the car lol!)0
