(and no im not up for the next sale - my 11mth old wont let me sleep)
Went into the Regent st branch at 7am on my way to work and it was packed solid. Had a quick browse around and didnt see any I liked.
The majority of clothing items for sale in Next are inferior and you would never see them in store on another day. Next bulk buy a lot of cheap clothes for their sales from Asia and put their labels on knowing people would buy them.0 -

Where do they buy them from normally?????0 -
Went to the local sale at 5 this morning, got to the car park and realised I had left my wallet at home:mad: , lucky that I am only 5 mins away.
Anyway, the homeware stuff was quite good, but very dissapointed in the mens selection, not a patch on previous years, very little in the way of suits and shirts but especially the "smellies" which I usually stock up on.
The wife was happy though as I brought back with 2 pairs of boots £90 down to £35 each (although I told her to choose as 1 pair would be going back) and a new bag.
Queeing took 1/2 hour and I joind it before it doubled in size.
Will go back in a bit to see what they have wheeled out from the store room, rearly want the CK watch, may have to have a look in another local.0 -
Why would you need to bother getting up at stupid o'clock when you could have got all the real bargains from the comfort of your own home via the website last week?TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0

Why would anyone really want to get up at silly o'clock to que outside in the cold and dark to buy something that they didn't really need is beyond me?
i have never felt the urge to go to "the sales" myself, i hate shopping, especially when the local shopping centre "Meadow HELL" is busy, i like to look around on line then if its something that i actually need i will go and get it and come straight home!
"Retail Therapy"????????? i need therapy ever time i set foot in the place!
ive just got in from taking my wife to work and there was a que outside PC World with about 50 people in it 2 hours before the shop opens??0 -

Absolute rubbish, you clearly do not have any idea what you are talking about.
The clothes in the sale are the very same clothes they sell throughout the year they just sell them off cheaply to make way for the next seasons clothing, just like any other store.
Also seems a bit strange that someone would bother going to a store sale "knowing" that it would be full of inferior clothing.TESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
I got to my local `NEXT` store at 5-30 am this morning. I got some nice items, the best thing probably being the red coat that i got my 18 yr old student daughter. It cost 40 reduced from 80. I had ordered it last week along with other items when the code was let out on moneysaving, but it hadnt come. I spent 150 quid this morning.I got home and just had time for tea and toast when the next delivery man arrived with two large parcels!!!!!(But not the red coat that i had been waiting for) Some serious budgeting needed me thinks, although I dont regret any of it and look forward to the next sale.“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line.
