Bright yellow shoes and radio 4 extra? Just doesn't go. :D

    Have a peaceful night OP.

Think I'll be heading off myself now. You know it's bedtime when you can't hear the telly over all the loud yawning you're doing. :D

Besides, the dog is farting something awful and I need new air. :rotfl:

I know how you feel about sweets and thinking you have some left and finding youhave not. Somewhere in my house are 2 Hersey Bars.I put them somewhere safe, I've looked everywhere but can't find them. Hope they have a long date on.
Radio 4 and 4 extra are great for when you can't sleep or need your mind taking off something.
    Hope everything is OK soon

    Regards

The body's a very weird thing, isn't it though. I remember a relative talking absolute gibberish and not being able to get a handle on reality for a couple of days. We decided she'd gone senile but would you believe it turned out to be a urine infection?

I work on a MH unit as a nurse and you simply wouldn't believe the amount of people we get in who are labelled as having a "severe decline in Mental Health " when they are actually suffering a simple urine infection its quite scary to see how much it affects people and even scarier how much it is missed by community health professionals :eek:

Well, should the OP come back in the wee small hours we'd better keep this going a bit longer. Will be thinking of you, although not for much longer before I keel over.

Mine fell alseep whilst I was delivering our middle child. The midwife said she'd never seen anyone like it. Made me feel really special.
:rotfl: mine falls asleep during all my physio appointments! He SAYS he shuts his eyes so that he's not looking at the therapist's bottom while she tortures me.

How about Radio 4 Extra? NOW you're chattin'
This reminds me, as a radio 4 addict, does anyone else have a digital radio which broadcasts CBeebies from 2-3 am, and then Schools programmes for the rest of the night, while the non-digital and online radios are giving us The World Service?

That's what the radio in the bathroom does. It's bizarre!

I've still got some chocolate money from several Christmases ago. I KNOW I bought it. Where did I put it though, that's the question?

I've been staying up in the hope that DS2 would come online. He's Somewhere in Europe with 2 mates. They left early Monday, and by Wednesday night he'd 'lost' one of the mates, and his passport. To give him credit, he was more concerned about his mate than his passport, whereas with me ...

It's a good job that they had NOT done the sensible thing of making sure that all parents had every other boy's phone number, and every other boy's parents' phone numbers, because they did work out where he was by Thursday morning, and I don't think DS2 has told him how close I was to going and knocking on his parents' door to see if they'd heard from him (which they wouldn't have done, apparently!)

The daft eejits had not organised 'roaming' on their mobile phones before leaving, and assumed that their phones not working was because there was no signal in Brussels. And none in Frankfurt either.

You've got to wonder, sometimes ...

When my grandmother was in hospital many years ago she started complaining my grandfather had not been to visit because he was "with his fancy woman" (he was in his grave and not the fancy woman type!), that ALL the nurses had been on strike and that she had been restrained in the middle of the night. :rotfl:

Medical staff insisted it was the early stages of dementia, we insisted not and it turned out to be be a UTI.

It's obviously too early for me just now cos I've just skimmed that and thought you were telling the OP she'll be 'boffin' (euphemism ;)) with him soon.

I was going to tease you for focusing on sex first thing in the morning. :rotfl:

OP, it's a blessing he went in when he did, if it is a clot at least they can deal with it now. Hope he has a comfortable day and that you don't do too much pacing. :)
