  • I agree with stationaryace and jennieiow - decide what you don't like first, whether based on personal experience or pictures of wedding hair (it might be worth picking up some magazines as well, or even just flicking through ordinary magazines and looking at pictures of celebrities at events). Don't be afraid to pick and choose bits from different styles as well.

If the wedding's near you, then I'd just go to your local hairdresser if you can get in there; if it isn't, then maybe get recommendations from people who live nearby (your mum if it's near your parents, say) or from people who've got married in the area. Take your tiara and veil (if you've got them) and the pictures with you. A good hairdresser will look at those and your face shape and go from there. The other important thing once you're at the appointment is to keep talking - don't say yes if you're not 100% happy, you're the customer after all.

Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")
Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")
  • Love your hair (and colour!) thanks for the pics - so yes it could work on the day - just book for say 10am and say suprise me.??

I usually go to the £7 or £9 hair dressers and say "trim please" Thats it.

Gonna have a look at your other links now - no to veil and tiara yet - waiting to try my dress on again to see what suits - then get cheaper on ebay - lol

    Thank you ladies

I'm not married or engaged... yet but i know exactly how i want my hair. When the programme "the wedding house" was on channel 4, they put some info up on their website about it. I was looking for info on this gorgeous wedding dress one of the brides wore... whilst there i thought it would be rude enless i looked at everything else (i love weddings)... and found this:

    I love this hair style!
