Hi all,
I was out for a walk with DS on Sat and found the following in the bushes. Any ideas what it is? More importantly is it edible?

Sorry about the massive pics, can't seem to adjust them

We always call them wild plums, they can be q sweet when ripe - they're certainly edible and would make good jam0
