I have just been given the following offer from virgin:

1.9% until 9 July 2012 on all balance transfers completed before 11 July 2011

I know there are plenty of cards with 0% but ive taken out a store card and a different credit card already this month, so don't really want to make any more applications.

Also, virgin give the ability to transfer to a current account. there is a fee for it (about £20) as I want to xfer £500 to my natwest account because their overdraught fees are ridiculous.

am I right thinking 1.9% apr on £500, over the course of a year, is pretty negligible?
