a bit gutted missed a call

I had a phone call today but my phone was on silent as I was at work. I googled the number and it was the asda recruitment line, tried ringing it back but it is just a voice message saying your were called today by asda we will call you back soon.

I have applied for a few jobs with asda lately.

Do you think they do phone back?

I would have thought so, you obviously ticked all they're boxes for them to call you. Good luck.

When I've wanted to hire someone I will always call them back, or expect them to try to call me back too.

If someone doesn't answer the phone at first, its life, I wouldnt just be like well I wont offer them the job them! Try to find another number to call them on. Other than that, all you can do is wait.

well I have tried calling them back but as I say it is just a recorded message, I am alos unsure which depot to contact as it just stated rdc in my area and there are 3 rdc's george, ambient and chilled! finger crossed they might ring back tomorrow.

would your asda login might help to narrow it down, it might have notes against 1 of them,

If you have the numbers for all 3, then I would call all 3. Is there a phone number on the website at all?

the asda website says against one application position closed, the other application states application under review.

All the asda distribution sites have the same number, just different numbers for different departments but I would not know which department to contact.

Just pick one to call, explain whats happened and then theyll probably put you through to right person.

well how unhelpful some people are, I figured I would wait to see if they would call the same time today, they havent. I picked up the phone to asda adc explained the situation she said it wouldnt have been them as they arent recruiting. I told I her I was not sure which depot it was as it was advertised as rdc. She said it might be another depot, gave me the phone number, I checked it was correct then rang it but it is a phone number for a nearby nursery.

Sick, I was really looking forward to this opportunity too.
