Virgin Media - Praise (of sorts)

I've been plagued for months by Virgin Media's endless 'To The Occupier' marketing spam.

I've tried writing to them, I've tried sending each letter back 'Return to Sender', I've even collected a few months' worth and sent it back to them with no postage (hey! I don't get out much), all to no avail.

Until today, when I finally succumbed and phoned them up...

fluffnutter: "Hi there, I'm hoping to find out how to stop you from sending me marketing literature".
Call centre agent: "Not a problem. I'll take a few details and remove you from our database".
Me: <gives details> "Fabulous, thanks very much".
Call centre agent: "Is there anything else I can help you with?"
Me: "No thanks. You've been very helpful".
Call centre agent: "Would you like me to put you through to our sales team to find out about our range of products seeing as you're not yet a customer of ours?"

Ah bless 'em. You've got to admire their persistence! :D

I'd like virgin media but can't due to there not being coverage round here,
Unfortunatly about once a month I get a letter stating how fabulous their tv, internet and phone line deals are, you'd think that they would know that the whole of the estate where i live is not able to recieve virgin media tv and save themselves a lot of paper!:p
:hello: Hiya, I'm single mom, avid moneysaver and freecycler, sometimes  but definatly :D

You mean...Virgin Media actually deigned to speak with you?

Blimey, I suppose it had to happen at some point. The amount of times my mum tried to ring about the smallest of things and got fobbed off.
'til the end of the line
