Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.

dera bob i am 2-3 hours up the m6 north from you, didnt see the location thingy but v usefull, if you ever fancy a trip north... sorry for the dig but I work in a showroom and see the other side, if only every plumber we came across had your technical knowledge then how easy life would be, then again i suppose you see many products supplied with no knowledge of the technicals from salesmen and women, but it looks nice but why wont it work?

My concern about the "other side" is when the salesperson tells the customer something is possible or doesn't allow sufficient time or materials for some work and I am left spending time and materials making it work. (example: bathroom and toilet used to be separate and have been knocked though. I won't do any work unless a structural engineer says it's OK and Building Control are involved) Combine that with the customer trying to do the work for as little as possible, or cutting costs by omitting what I would consider necessary or at least desirable work (example: tiling over existing tiling), and you can understand why I'm happier to work for myself and mainly on my own.
PM me with your "shop" details if you like.

Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

beautiful if very very wet cumbria
  • If you are going to Cumbria can you just kepp going a bit further and do a shower room for me Please???

if not can you give me an idea of this -price wise? before I get carried away and realise I can't afford it!

I want to take out exsisting toilet and move it to where exsisting sink is , then in space fit a shower tray with a door and a side panel. There is an exsisting electrical shower and tray but it is about 80cm away at the moment, then fit a basin where the shower is?

    hope this makes sense?
  • Plumb1 I've just read your thread about the weekend plumbing-sounds good to me -probably you will need a relaxing weekend in scotland with all that babysitting and weekend plumbing so bear it in mind!

Talking to a good friend(scotish) the otherday who has been working on Balmoral Castle replacing the Roof Slates.
He was cutting the new ones into shape, loads of American tourist's watching him. Asking him how old they were, he told them 1640;)

He sold them the broken bits he was cutting off for £1 a peice, they were Chinesse imports:rotfl:
