1. NAME OF PRIZE DRAW:
“Eden’s Top Wildlife Attraction of the Year 2011”


2. PRIZE DRAW ENTRY:

Entrants are asked to vote for their favourite UK wildlife attraction from Eden’s selection of 20 attractions.


3. PRIZE:

The prize will consist of two (2) elements (a) the first prize, and (b) the runner up prize as follows:

(a) The Winner shall receive the first prize of Thomas Cook holiday vouchers to the value of £3,000 (the “Holiday Vouchers”), subject to the following conditions:

• The recipient of the Holiday Vouchers shall be a minimum of 18 years of age
• There is no cash alternative and the Holiday Vouchers are non transferable
• The Holiday Vouchers are valid indefinitely
• The Holiday Vouchers can be used as full or part payment for any Thomas Cook travel product but are not exchangeable for cash, travellers cheques or foreign currency in any format
• The Holiday Vouchers can be redeemed in any Thomas Cook store, through Thomas Cook or Airtours Direct, against Direct Holidays or via Thomascook.com
• Lost or stolen Holiday Vouchers cannot be replaced

(b) The Runner-Up shall receive the runner-prize of an animal experience (“Experience Day”), as set out below, at one of the following participating wildlife attractions (the “Wildlife Attraction(s)”):

Blue Planet Aquarium: Marine Team place for the Day
Cotswold Wildlife Park: Penguin Feed
Dartmoor Zoo: Keeper for a Day
Deep Sea World: Shark Encounter
Dudley Zoo: Adult Zoo Keeper for a Day
Flamingoland: Zoo Keeper for a Day
Isle of Wight Zoo: Lemur Feeding Experience (for two people)
Knowsley Safari Park: Keeper for a Day
Linton Zoo: Rare Lemur Breeding Centre Experience
Living Coasts: Keeper for a day/ Junior Keeper for a Day
Marwell Wildlife: Keeper for a Day
The Monkey Sanctuary: Primate Keeper for the Day
National Seal Sanctuary: Seal Personal Encounter

West Midland Safari Park: VIP Experience (for two adults)

The full Wildlife Attraction(s) terms and conditions will apply to the specific Experience Day chosen by the Runner-Up.

General terms for participation in the Wildlife Experience Day

The prize is for a minimum of one person to participate in one Wildlife Attraction Experience Day (the “Participant(s)”), of the winner’s choosing.

Any persons wishing to accompany the Participant(s) at such Wildlife Attraction must pay the normal entrance fee, but will not be able to participate in the Experience Day.

The Participant(s) must be aged 16 and over (unless the contrary is stated in the specific terms and conditions for the Wildlife Attraction) and have a reasonable level of fitness as participation involves manual labour.

You are not able to participate if you are pregnant or have given birth within the 6 months prior of the Experience.

Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty,
the extent of participation will vary to take account of these. We recommend you seek clarification from the participating Wildlife Attraction to establish the extent the Experience Day itinerary may be adapted prior to participation in this Competition.

The Experience Day must be taken by 30 June 2012, unless stated otherwise in the Wildlife Attraction terms and conditions. Each Wildlife Attraction has their own restrictions on the exact dates when Experience Days are run, and all Experience Days are subject to availability at the time of booking. Early booking is recommended and in some cases essential.

Winner is responsible for making travel arrangements to / from the Wildlife Attraction Experience Day.

4. SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS:

All entrants must be over 18 years of age at the date of entry and be a legal resident in the United Kingdom.

All entrants must have the internet service bill payer’s permission prior to entering.


5. VOTING PERIOD:

The vote will be open between 10am on 29 June 2011 and midnight on 16 September 2011 and all postal votes must be received by 22 September 2011 (the “Voting Period”).

Any entries received outside of the Voting Period (for whatever reason) will be invalid but you may still be charged for entry where costs apply.
6. WINNER SELECTION
The winner of the first prize will be the first entrant to be selected at random after the end of the Voting Period from all eligible entries received (the “Winner”).

The winner of the runner-up prize will be the second entrant to be selected at random after the end of the Voting Period from all eligible entries received (the “Runner-Up”).

The Winner and the Runner-Up must claim their prizes by successfully responding to UKTV’s notification by [telephone and/ or email] within 21 days of UKTV’s first notification being sent. Failure to successfully claim the relevant prize within the timeline stipulated may result in the prize being forfeited and an alternate winner and/ or runner-up being selected, who may have a shorter period of time to claim the prize.


7. METHOD OF ENTRY & COST:

You can enter this prize draw free of charge on the Eden website at https://www.exploreeden.co.uk (the “Website”). You may need to register yourself, free of charge, on the Website.

You can also enter the prize draw by post, free of charge, using a pre-paid postcard (endorsed with the following delivery address: Eden TV Channel UKTV, Bechtel House, 245 Hammersmith Road, London W6 8PW) available from each Wildlife Attraction.


8. ENTRY LIMITATIONS:

You can only enter this prize draw once. Where a winner has been selected and UKTV discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe the winner has made a bulk entry, UKTV shall have the absolute discretion to select an alternative winner. Any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these terms and conditions.

9. Prize Provider:
The first prize of the Holiday Vouchers shall be provided by UKTV Interactive Limited.

The Runner-Up prize of the Animal Experience shall be provided by one of the Wildlife Attractions chosen by the Runner-Up.
