frost free fridge freezer - but freezer needs defrosting

This is really annoying.
We bought a brand new frost free fridge freezer.
(Mostly) all was well - until the wife called me up and work complaining she spent 2 hours chipping all the ice that had built up in the freezer.
Got Bosch in to check. They found nothing wrong. And charged nearly £70 for the privilege!

The most likely cause is leaving the door slightly open.
Sometimes if you overfill a draw the door does not close properly and lets the moist air in and that freezes.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -

We've been monitoring that. It may have happened once. Thing no-one in the house reports any open doors, yet the ice is slowly building up!
Bosch should have offered that as an explanation before sending an engineer round with a bill!0
