Badger, I've emailed you back. What sort of score do you think is good?
Any score above 700 is better then under 500. Sure most the people in here say it's a waste of money, and CRA dont lend money yada yada, but it IS a guild line. I couldn't get a sim only plan last month, but I bet someone with a score of 700+ could. So it some ways, it's something to go on, in others, maybe not. But the very least it shows I am improving. And paying a tiny sum a month to verify that, is worth it in my eyes.Debt in June 2011: Debt amount £1248
Credit score: 406:mad:
Debt in Jan:Debt amount £0
Credit score: 715:T
Got my first credit card in December 2011

Can I just point out that with an 800+ I was refused things... in fact would you believe with a 999 score I was turned down for 0% cards
Tickled me no end that one
What they want to see is how you have managed credit and each has their own view on who can be trusted. Usually a default is not removed, it's marked as settled unless it's been applied in error. It will be a while before a default that is settled stops having a direct impact on your credit worthyness - give it time
