My friend has asked me to search the Internet for a means of washing her dog with warm water outdoors.
I suggested a couple of joined hoses on the h&c taps but it is a long way from the sink, and this can cause flooding in the tank.
How do the power jet hoses for cars work could it take an inlet from a sink full of warm water?

i have washed my girl in cold tap water plenty of times, she doesnt seem to mind at all, i figure if she will happily lay down in the garden in the snow and walk through the woods in 12" of snow a little tap water won't do her any harm whatsoever, she seems happier standing in the garden under the hose than trying to stand in the bath upstairs!0

You could try a solar shower, they are selling them in larger tesco's for £6.50 and you can get them from various places on the internet and camping shops. Just be carefull though as the water can get very hot, the longer you leave it outside.0

We just use a watering can - cold water from the outside tap, topped up with a hot kettle to get the temp we want. All ours are quite happy with plain cold water, but we are soft:D0

Just like the labs I look after they dive in cold water in Winter so I chuck any clean water over them.
Unfortunately one of my friends dogs is epileptic so she spoils her a bit! Bit daft if she dives into freezing cold water though! She also cooks for her - seriously.0 -
I have found this portable shower which is powered from a car cigarette lighter it is only cold water shower though, but suppose you could fill up with warm water. Works off 4 D cell batteries as well. Are they those 1.5v ones? I thought this unit would need 12v?

Not too far from where I live there is a pet supplier that has an ourdoor wash/shower facility for dogs. The dog gets in, you can raise the platform to a height that is convenient for you, there are attachments for the dog so it can't jump out either, you can then wash(warm water) and there are two dryer settings, one that blasts cold air to remove most of the water and a hot drier too. It costs me approx £8 and the dog is dry afterwards so no problem with wet dogs in the car
May be worth looking around to see if there is a similar facility in your area0 -
We wash our doggy with cold water from the hose! She likes the sea or any water so can,t see the problem. a garage close to us had a doggy wash! No idea how it works as i prefer the cheap DIY doogy wash!!0

Bucket of warm water taken out into the yard. One to wet her down, and two to rinse generally do the trick. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
We use a couple of buckets of warm water and a watering can. Its a lot easier than lifting her in and out the bath and then having to clean up after she has given herself a shake. The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T0
