Can Canadian HST/GST Tax be reclaimed

Evening folks,
Could anyone confirm if GST/HST taxes paid on hotel accommodation whilst visiting Canada can be reclaimed, apparently it could be reclaimed previously but i am having problems finding any current 2011 details when searching the net, may be a thing of the past.

I've been looking into this, from my research I believe it's finished.Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0

The scheme was discontinued quite a few years ago - around 2005 I think0

This scheme was ended about 5 years ago and you now need to be a tour operator to be able to claim tax back, rather than an individual traveller0

thanks all the same folks, bit of a disappointment there then, thought i was going to at least get a few sheckles back, i bet it works the other way around with overseas tourist individuals being able to reclaim the vat we charge them, i know it used to.
