    :hello:

Hey All! Thanks so much for all my birthday wishes last week! I had an ACE time.... ended up like a right saddo waiting in the queue at Wembley from lunch time, which is the last place I thought Id be (I was heading for the pub!) but the bars were empty and everything was all set up at wembley (food stands, beer tents, radio DJs etc) and everyone was sitting in the sunshine with food and wine so we ended up staying there!! It was great!! As a result, we ended up almost right at the front! We had a great time! Have been playing catch up ever since, as we were then away to Yorkshire from Friday till Monday then I had a spa day (*bliss*), which has left me trying to catch up again all this week!

Ive been trying to fly but actually only achieving a lame sort of flutter! However, I have finally got my spreadsheets up to date!!! :D Check me! :j

I hope Im not busting in in the middle of something awful thats going on (note to self: Skim thread first next time!)

Anyway - happy birthday to those who have missed, hugs for the poorlies, welcomes to the Noobs and sticks and spoons to those that need...

Little one wet the bed last night, so off to make his bed, the sheets and protectors of which have been drying in the sunshine all day - then Im off to hack at the garden before it actually comes into the house....

    Laters xxxxxx

    hello ladies,

I have left my list at work, so am making it up as I go along (story of my life)
I have just cleaned 2 kitchen drawers to keep the momentum going, and I have just sat down to do some important emails I've been putting off.

DH will be late home, so omelette for tea when he gets in.
I really want to sit down and paint my nails tonight as we are on a night out tomorrow with friends.

    Glad all ok LW

    I have a couple of questions . . .

    1) Does anyone have any idea why there is always water left in the softener section of my washing machine and how I stop it from happening?

    2) What can I use to clean my leather sofas? I've tried using baby wipes but they don't get bad marks off :(

Washing in, bathroom cleaned (at least it was before DD1 went in there!), tea cooked & scoffed. I still can't find the beneficial loans form I need to complete the student finance :( I have emailed HR at DH's work (and copied him in!) and asked them to send a copy to him. That's all I can do for now. And I need to finish my accounts to do the tax credits renewal aswell :o (not a tax year behind like SF)

NDN has just come in to borrow printer....

not much flying done ( hangs head in shame) but have been for a bra fitting - 1 year of Slimming World = down to 40DD bras from 40F - DD2 dead chuffed for me! Although she was less impressed to discover that they almost fitted her!

Bought tickets to take both DD's to see HP7b on Sunday. am killing time atm - taxi is here for 11 to take DD1 and I to midnight screening - heaven alone knows how I will get up and go to work tomorrow!

BUT - as DD1 was bedbound 3 years ago i shall just enjoy the fact that she is well enough to do this tonight - and boy is she excited!

    Catch you tomorrow peeps!

taken from here... see the following... xx
The fabric conditioner / rinse aid compartment is always full of water

This is inevitably caused by a blockage. The small fabric conditioner compartment in the soap dispenser drawer has a removable plastic cap. This cap fits on the top of a tube which has a hole running through it where the water should siphon through.
When the time comes for the fabric conditioner to be released, cold water enters the small compartment and just washes the conditioner over the top and down the dispenser to the tub. When the water stops flowing, all that is left is the clear water. This water should siphon up the inside of the cap and down the tube.
This tube often gets blocked with the conditioner and if you remove the dispenser drawer and take off the cap you can give the whole thing a good clean out. If the cap is missing, the siphoning will not occur.
To test the function, hold the soap drawer under the tap and allow the water to fill the fabric compartment to overflowing. When you turn off the tap, the remaining water should slowly siphon out of the hole under the cap.
