Max.. I wouldn't advise staying in the freezer until 7:30... it'll be REALLY cold!.. but WOW at the size of your freezer!

I need to go and stick my head in the freezer now, and I have to be out at 7.30pm.

Ooooooo I wouldn't stay in the freezer that long. You'll be frozen by then!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::p:p:p

    Sorry couldn't resist that one!

Thank you for the hugs re: Mouse. It is very sad, but she was 18 which I think is a grand age for a cat and is definitely in a much better place now without anymore pain.

I've been too work and then we all went out for a lovely Italian lunch for my bosses birthday!

Got in at 3.30pm and have spoken to the letting agancy re: the fence. Told them I don't mind dealing with it and the council as long as they back me 100%. I want a like for like replacement for the fence and new grass. Which they agreed to and have said they'll support me. . Landlord doesn't give a hoot, but then it's not him that has to live here.

Right flying I have cleared the kitchen surfaces - again and the DW is on. Just having a cuppa and then I'll do a HHC at 5.45 if anyone fancies one?

Piggers - is this a brother or sister for Jacob or is it someone else?

So far today I've applied for another job and delivered it as the closing date was today. That took most of the day - pretty much all morning to write it, then I've delivered it, then I called in at Mr S on the way back. Picked kids up from school but DS was 30 mins late back from his school trip so had to wait for him, then we've been to MCDs as I couldn't be bothered to cook. I now desperately need to go to sleep after having none last night but I'll have to wait until at least 8 when the kids go to bed.

Tomorrow I've got to go into work to get my feedback and also I need to ring 2 other schools about visits. Not sure whether I'll be staying in work or not - depends how I feel.

I have washing on the line which I need to bring in but other than that I can't see me doing anything tonight.

Thanks folks but DS2 is in Turkey for a month so I can't leave it until he gets home. I will ring Chinese restaurant. Or phone my Chinese friend. Don't know why I didn't think of it before. I think I just panicked. Lovely new carpet too :(

    I didn't think you'd said they'd got back together.

Still haven't moved out of my bedroom and it sounds like the kids are now making smoothies downstairs. They'd better clean up after themselves!

well today's washing has been ironed, tea made and scoffed

Juliejim - hope your selection for redundancy was fair - union?

I believe that you are entitled to all the time off you need for job searching etc. -well that was the case when I was made redundant in the year dot.
