The numbers dont quite add up from the OP but it seems:
Full kitchen replacement value: £22,000
Damage caused: £10,000
Kitchen no longer made so cannot just replace the £10,000 of damaged units/ tiles etc. Offer of a 50:50 split on the remainder of the kitchen
Insurer pays:
Damage: £10,000 - £250 xs = £9,750
50% Contribution: £6,000
Total insurer payment: £15,750
PH pays:
XS: £250
50% Contribution: £6,000
Total PH payment: £6,250
PH gets full new kitchen.0 -
Must be a fab kitchen for £22k0
