dvd problem

I have a cheap bog standard dvd player which works fine when I just want to play a dvd but last Christmas I was given an interactive quiz dvd which worked fine for about 5 minutes then kept freezing. This year I have been given the `Who wants to be a millionaire` game` and this is the same. It starts off OK and freezes after a couple of questions. We are thinking of looking in the sales for a new dvd player but We don`t want to pay much as we don`t use it very often. I would just like one which would let me play the interactive games because they are good fun when visitors come round. Can anyone tell me if I need to look for anything different or will any cheap player (except mine) usually work with games?

Big Supermarkets always have a budget dvd player on the shelves and also sell those dvd games.
Perhaps you could ask nicely for them to test one in store?0 -
Have you tried playing the games in another dvd player to make sure it is your player that is on the blink?DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0
