Anyone else having issues with Windows 7 automatic updates failing?

No, but the best thing to do is to turn off the automatic update setting and change it to manual.Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0

I have mine set @ manual.0

Run windows update, then click check updates, click the number of important ones, then check what they are
I had a similar thing when it downloaded and installed updates for programmes not on my PC, .net framework 4 I think, so it would reboot, attempt to configure then roll back
Bit of a chore but installing each one seperately will let you see which is the errant one, then if it is supposed to install, someone can help you look for a solution
If any are for things which are not applicable, you can click them, then right click them and tick hide0
