Arrgh, Bop-it or bin-it?

So my younger brother received a bop-it blast as a gift for christmas.
It worked fine for about 2 hours yesterday, and now it only lights up no matter what you press.
We've tried changing the batteries, but it doesn't make a difference. And of course, being my brother, he threw the instructions and box out as soon as he unwrapped it.
Anyone have one and have any experience of this? Anything in the instructions? Arrgh... Ideas anyone?

Go buy another one and take the broken one back on that receipt and get your money back, No lectures about my dishonesty please, not saying that's what I would do. lol.0
