Always a fan of Malwarebytes thought I would give the pro version ago . I keep getting little balloon warnings that a possible malicious web site has been blocked , type outgoing . Checking the log they appear to come from different parts of the world ? Is this normal or indeed what is happening .
Using shields up everything passed except my computer replied to them pinging me .

It is usual for the pro version
Mostly, you will still see the site you want, but if other sites attempt to hinder safe viewing, the balloon appears
It can be overridden, though probably not adviseable unless you know a site is safe0 -
If you're running P2P software like Bittorrent, then this is fairly typical and continuous. In that case, you can disable the warning.
If you're just surfing the web, then I wouldn't expect you to see the warning that often but it'll come up on certain sites.
If you're not doing any online activities at the time, then of course this is likely a sign of infection. It would mean that something on your computer is initiating connections to known bad IP addresses. If you think this is the case, then double check what you have open
In all of this, false positives are possible since it's blocking by IP address rather than domain. Still, makes a very good companion to the domain blocking methods (alternative DNS or HOSTS).0 -
It's doing it job, go to Protection & uncheck "show tooltip balloon when malicious website is blocked" to stop it appearing as it gets annoying0

yes, with the pro version it's perfectly normal. mbam pro can at times be overly suspicious of certain 'legitimate' sites -- u can add those to a white-list if u so wish. also, u can disable notifications and preventions of suspect sites -- not recommended though as it would prob. defeat the purpose of the install.A new abacus
