Thinking ahead....

Going to Thailand on 6th April 2012 LHR T3 Thai Airways (Bank Holiday) thinking of treating mum and I to a few hours in the No1 lounge and a manicure, should I book now or wait until closer to the time? I presume lounges are open on bank holidays...! Am going to design a 'token' for mum as it will be her Christmas present. Looks like its £25 for the lounge and £35 for the manicure.

Save the £25 and enjoy some proper food and drinks at an airport restaurant.
Lounges should only be used when it's part of your ticket or status with an airline group.

I've done that for the last 9 years now so thought I'd treat my mum - she'll love it - we'll never have the 'status' for it. And I would like a comfy seat to sit in to read my kindle for a few hours.
