Has anyone used a Diners Club card for lounge entry? It appears to have an annual fee of £50 and includes unlimited lounge access to pretty much all the worldwide lounges that accept Priority Pass.
Thanks

Could someone please explain to me what you get at these lounges? We're flying at 10am from Gatwick North. Can we benefit from a lounge?
Many thanks.0 -

There is usually free food, and open buffet, and an open bar. For 10am that would usually be breakfast, but depending on the lounge the food offering might range from full English with buffet cereals and pastries, to just packets of crisps and biscuits. There will be comfy seats, usually free wifi and newspapers, and sometimes shower rooms and massage spas. There is a No 1 Lounge in Gatwick North, whilst I've not used it I've used the one at Stansted and it has a good selection of breakfast pastries, cereals, fruit, yoghurts and a hot selection (not quite full English but the eggs benedicy was nice!).

Hope this helps.

Thanks. But you can have breakfast in any of the cafes/restaurants around the main departure lounge. If you have a phone with free internet, you don't need the wi-fi. I buy a paper, so that I can take it on the plane, so the free newspaper isn't really a perk. I still don't understand why one would want to pay for a lounge?0

Well, its all about personal choice isn't it? I've been happy to pay a small amount to gain access to an airport lounge and then take advantage of the unlimited free food and drink (both alcoholic and soft) in a relaxed, quiet atmosphere. If that sounds like a waste of time and money then don't bother.Thanks. But you can have breakfast in any of the cafes/restaurants around the main departure lounge. If you do decide to go for it, I've PM'd you a link which gives a discount for lounges in Gatwick's North Terminal. This space has been intentionally left blank0
