  • The Mail on Sunday this week did an article about some new airport lounges, No1traveller.com
Has anyone tried the one at LHRT3?

I think you have to be served alcoholic drinks rather than the Servisair lounge where you help yourself.

I've used the No 1 lounge at Stansted. Yes you are served alcoholic drinks by a Barman, but they are all free except champagne and cocktails. Presumably so they can stop serving you if you're getting too drunk to fly.

    Good afternoon!

Taking my fiancee from Manchester T2 to Las Vegas at beginning of October and boy! is she excited (it is the first time for her but I have been fortunate enough to travel stateside a lot on business trips)

Would be great to surprise her with a lounge in Manchester to start the holiday off (not sure if one in Las Vegas coming home would be a good idea?)

Anybody offer codes etc. or advice?

    Many thanks
We used the Escape Lounge in T2 a few weeks ago using our Taste Card. As has been mentioned you can not pre book. When we got there the main lounge was quite full so they sent us to the Business Lounge. Almost every spirit you can think of, lots of hot pastries, snacks and sweets. Ice cold beer, free wifi, papers, Magazines, NO KIDS! Cost was £20 for the 2 of us. Bargain
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
