Hi just wondering is there anybody out there who lives for free, by just doing surveys, bingo( I know you have to deposit some first) , freebies , coupons etc, would be really interested is it possible to make least a part time income, I am very lucky on Take a Break Bingo, and I get loads of freebies and coupons, and now do quite a lot of surveys, I have only been doing this for a few months and to me it seems quite profitable, I do the e**y auctions as well , but seemed to be making more doing the other things, wondering whether I should forget e**y and concentrate on the other things mentioned, is anyone like me, and do this, interested in your thoughts.

:jHave a great profitable day!

Any chance of naming some of the sites you use for the surveys / coupons etc. How you make you money? Do you have a daily list of websites you visit?

How much do you tend to earn? Do you find any particular websites (apart from Take a Break bingo) as really good starter websites that tend to pay out quite a lot?

Personally I can't see how this could replace the wage of a full time job, unless you were very, very, lucky and won cash prizes of £1000 upwards a few times a year.

I could of course be wrong but I am convinced that it is not possible. You certainly can make a full time income via the internet, but certainly (in my opinion) not by the techniques you mentioned.

I don't think so, multiply the amount of time you take filling out a survey, multiply it to reach an hour and compare it to what you think you would get working for somebody (minimum wage? £7 an hour?), then consider the amount of times you are invited to complete such a survey.

Then add in the time you take entering competitions - do you know how many other people are entering - and factor in your chances of winning. Don't get me wrong, when I had time I used to do surveys, mystery shopping etc but the amount of invites made it clear it was just to make pocket money, not a living.

Be careful, it can be easy to obsess over these things, spend time doing them and reap, well, not a lot to pay important bills...

Don't forget that you have you internet bill to cover too. You can make a reasonable amount from odds and ends, but I'm not sure how much it would add up too - depends how much time you spend on it!

Like anything, if you're going to try to make money you need to diversify your portfolio.

Doing surveys is a great way to start out, then invest that money in something you're interested in that can take you to the next level.

You really need to be working on referrals to make money out of surveys - and that's a much tougher market than even 2 years ago. You'll need a website/page for that (could get a freebie) and spend your time promoting your site (which can be free too).

But to just sit and wait for surveys to arrive in your email box you'd struggle to pay your rent unless you happened to be a really hot demographic that the surveys are targetting. e.g. there's more money in recruiting men into some programs, than recruiting women.

Some years ago I remember reading a story about a woman who had given up her job as a waitress and intended making a living from entering slogan competitions. These were far more popular then. I personally knew Rita Smallburn who was known as 'The Competition Queen' . Rita was a highly intelligent woman whose gift with words had enabled her to take early retirement. She was also largely unique and the competition format that Rita was so good at has now largely disappeared.
I make my living from the internet as an online tutor. I have joined various survey sites and after answering absolutely everything that I could I have made a little money.
I make a lot more from my job, but I also trained for some ten years part time to be qualified to do it! There are no quick and easy ways to make money on the net without making some investment in time and/or money imo.
